For group portraits an outline sketch of the final composition is drawn and sent to be approved before the commission goes ahead. We paint many animal subjects from ferrets to elephants, fish to snakes !! Although cats, dogs and horses seem to be the most popular pets.

Head Studies from multiple photos makes achievement of the true character of the Animal possible. Backgrounds can be composed or copied to suit the desired compostition.

Large Group Portraits a speciality. The photographs are taken and an initial outline is produced and sent for approval. After this the painting is undertaken, framed if required and delivered. Currently twenty collies is the largest number of animals commissioned on one sheet of paper !!

Full body Studies can be undertaken from multiple photographs to capture the best look of your animal. Large Animals require large Paintings for full body pictures but smaller Animals can be commissioned as full body on the smaller size paintings.
